Community Resources

There are many resources available for domestic violence victims and their families, and Desert Rose works with survivors to promote and facilitate access to local services.  While safety represents the foremost concern when working with domestic violence survivors locally, once safety is established, we work closely with our clients to connect them with the necessary resources to establish stability and promote self-sufficiency.

Desert Rose curates a broad list of local resources for the Morgan County community to utilize – you can access the guide here.

While Desert Rose is not always able to accommodate every request for shelter or other services, we make every possible effort to connect callers to a nearby shelter if we are unable to house them.  For a list of shelters throughout the state of Indiana, please view our Emergency Shelter Guide.
